“The house was as described in the ad. We had another booking cancel last minute and were happy to find this one just a few hours before checking in. Watching the planes was so fun, and yes they are loud, but we and our teens slept great. We used the hot tub both nights and it was hot with lots of jets. Floors and counters were all clean. There’s some caulk in the bathrooms that is browning and could use replacing, but nothing concerning. It’s on a hill and has stairs to the front door, we liked the walk down to Little Italy and did it every day, but not a great fit for folks with mobility limitations and maybe not for people who need it to be perfect, it’s an older house and has some imperfections, but we loved it. “If you are looking for the perfect spot to get away in San Diego, this is it! Perfectly located in Little Italy I walked to so many coffee, shops and restaurants and even went right down to the harbor. Everybody staying there was super respectful and a great way to meet fellow travelers! The hosts gave clear instructions and were very responsive. Every time I reached out. Even though the house is situated underneath the flight path, there is something amazing seeing those planes fly above. So grateful to have had this experience, definitely recommend!”
