  cool the entire home. Most comfortable October through May. Summer guests: rooms stay pleasantly cool
  with fans and the ocean breeze (no in-room AC, but window units coming summer 2026!).

COOLING SYSTEM:
San Diego has mild coastal weather year-round. The room has ceiling fans and portable fans for air
circulation. A mini-split AC unit in the common area cools the entire home. Most comfortable Oct-May. During
summer months, rooms stay cool with fans and ocean breeze, but please note there is no in-room AC unit
(window AC planned for summer 2026). If AC is essential for your comfort, this may not be the best fit for
summer visits.
SHARED HOME:
This is a private room in a shared home, not an entire apartment. Another private room may be rented to other
guests (max 4 people total in home). Kitchen, living room, bathroom, and backyard are shared common areas. Most
guests appreciate the social aspect, but if you need complete privacy/isolation, consider booking an entire
home instead.
QUIET HOURS:
This is a residential neighborhood. Quiet hours are 10 PM - 8 AM. No parties or events allowed. Perfect for
relaxation and rest!
PETS:
No pets allowed, sorry! (Allergies and cleanliness concerns)
SMOKING:
No smoking indoors. Outdoor smoking allowed in the backyard only (away from house). Please dispose of
butts properly.
PARKING:
Free street parking available. Parking is typically easy to find. No driveway or garage access.
