One smart, comfortable space with a quality queen bed, queen sofa sleeper, dining table, and FULL kitchen along one wall — gas stove, oven, full-size fridge, cookware, drip coffee maker + Keurig. Room-darkening shades make afternoon naps after an early Yosemite start much easier. AC keeps things comfortable during hot Mariposa summers, while central heat has you covered in winter.

Our 2-person hot tub gives you a relaxing place to recharge after a day exploring Yosemite. Hot-tub access is available year-round by reserved time slot so you can enjoy private use during your scheduled time. We'll provide the access code and simple instructions.

Our year-round 2-person hot tub is shared between our two neighboring studios, but only one unit has access at a time.

Simply request an available 1-hour time slot, and we'll provide you with a private door code for the hot tub area. During your reserved time, the hot tub is exclusively yours — no sharing with guests from the other studio.

We want you to book the RIGHT stay, so here's the straightforward version:

❌ NOT a remote mountain cabin
You're in downtown Mariposa — that's the whole point. Daytime brings the pleasant buzz of a walkable Gold Rush town (the balcony overlooks our little commercial corner and parking area). Nights are generally quiet.

If you want pine trees and seclusion out every window, a remote cabin may be a better fit. If you want to explore Yosemite all day, soak in the hot tub, then walk to dinner, coffee, drinks, and shops, this is your place.

❌ NOT inside Yosemite
The park entrance is a scenic drive up Hwy 140, the lower-elevation route into Yosemite Valley and a great option for year-round visits. You get convenient access to Yosemite without giving up the restaurants, shops, and conveniences of downtown Mariposa.

❌ NO washer/dryer in the unit
There's a laundromat in town; we keep the linens hotel-fresh for you.

❌ NOT a party pad
Quiet hours after 10 PM. Great guests, gracious neighbors.

elevation gateway to Yosemite Valley — ~2,100 ft at the entrance vs ~6,000 ft for the Hwy 41(South) and Hwy 120 (Big Oak Flat) routes, and Tioga Pass (120 East) is closed all winter. Carry
chains Nov–Apr as required, but you're coming in on the easiest road. ❄️
